Fourth proposed Kidney Dialysis Centre at Chowk Azam, South Punjab

Initial approach has been made by local doctors to establish a treatment centre for

Kidney dialysis at THQ hospital at Chowk Azam. This is a city in the Layyah District of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located 25 Kilometres from Layyah, the headquarters of the Layyah District, on the Mianwali and Multan Road.

Third Kidney Dialysis Centre – Skardu

Medical Aid has decided to set up the centre at the government hospital under the public private partnership as it did at Gilgit. Feasibility studies are being undertaken and two members of the Executive committee members would travel to Skardu during this summer to establish the management committee responsible for ensuring that all necessary building works are completed before 4 state of the art dialysis machines, RO plant and other necessary equipment is purchased to shift to Skardu. Our Second Kidney Dialysis Centre in Punjab

Medical Aid UK successfully raised £36,950. Medical Aid UK purchased 6 state of the Art Fresenius dialysis machines and shipped them to Gujranwala, Pakistan. These machines would be installed in a dedicated bay at the 50 bedded kidney hospital.

DONATE FOR OUR FIRST DIALYSIS CENTRE

Medical Aid UK successfully raised £38,478 for our second kidney dialysis centre, we have now raised sufficient funds for this dialysis centre but the delay has been due to the Covid restrictions and the provincial government not able to allocate sufficient funds for the upgrading of the hospital. After the elections due to be held in the province this year, we are confident that progress would be made to install the 4 machines to open this centre later in the year.
